So over a month ago, our dear friends Diana and Joe came down to visit.  Even though the poor things got stuck in Atlanta for the night (on mine and Eric’s first anniversary – jeez guys, we were happy to share the evening with you!), we ended up having a great rest of the week.

We explored the city during the week, then Eric, Diana, and Joe took off to the islands of San Blas for a night and two days.  San Blas is a very remote collection of 365 small islands off the northern coast of Panama.  To get there, they took a bus about two hours northeast, then got on a boat…just in time for a big storm!  Apparently it was so bad that they had to pull over at another island on the way to ride out the storm.  Thankfully, they made it all the way to Isla Chicheme safely.

The San Blas islands are where the little red pointer thing is. Panama City’s on the southern (pacific) coast in the middle of the country.

Apparently it wasn’t a bad looking place!
